We are looking for talents who want to pursue a Summer Intern HVAC position in Aker Solutions.

Aker Solutions’ HVAC group is part of the Safety, Environment 6 HVAC department in the New Build Division in Aker Solutions. The department is divided in four groups; Technical Safety, Analysis, Working & Natural Environment and HVAC and consists of approx. 40 highly skilled employees of which 15 work with HVAC system and area design. Our department takes part in FEED development, detail design, modification and commissioning of complex onshore and offshore installations.

This position is located at Fornebu, and the start date will be June 2024.

What will you be doing?

This is a summer intern role for candidates with limited to no relevant experience. As our new Summer Intern, you will join the HVAC Discipline, working on the Hugin A project. Activities may include:

  • Checking of relevant ISO drawings

  • Calculation of system properties

We think you should have:

  • Studying for a Master in a relevant subject, primarily Energy & Environment, Mechanical.

  • Entered final year of study in Q3 2024

  • The ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing

  • Good commercial skills and the ability to understand customer needs

  • A curious mindset, with an eagerness to learn and take on more tasks/responsibilities

  • A team-player attitude, with a proactive, flexible, and solutions-oriented mindset, and strong work ethics.
